Fall is one of the best times to immerse yourself in the season. If you haven’t caught yourself feeling the fall vibes yet, these recipes will have you in the spirit for the crisp days ahead.
Whether you’re baking for a Halloween party, Thanksgiving gathering or just for fun, now is the perfect time to get started. Tie on your apron, preheat the oven and get ready for all the delicious tastes and smells of fall!
Fall offers some of the best flavors for baking: pumpkin, apple and cinnamon. Whatever flavors are your preference, you will find something yummy here to try.
Pumpkin Sticky Buns are a unique way to include pumpkin, pecans and caramel into one sweet bun. The best recipe I found is here. The detailed instructions and photos make for easy baking.
Another delicious pumpkin recipe is pumpkin cheesecake. Natasha's Kitchen has a great recipe with special tips listed at the end. This classic dessert with a fall twist will be enjoyed by any pumpkin lover.
Apple Pie Puff Pastries are handheld individual treats. I recently made these myself, and they turned out so yummy! Whether you buy your puff pastry at the store or make it from home, it will turn out just fine. If you’re buying your puff pastry at the store, I recommend getting more than one pack.
The second apple dessert is a little more complicated: Baked Apple Fritters. Don’t be intimidated; this recipe has detailed instructions to get you through. Sort of like a scone, but with its own crunchy apple flavor and a glaze on top.
The final dessert I recommend to you is Maple Brown Sugar Cookies. If you’re not into cinnamon or pumpkin, there are still many fall flavors like this one to try!
One of my favorite places to look for recipes is Sally's Baking Addiction. Whenever I think of a dessert I’d like to try baking, I see if she has a recipe for it first. They’re easy to follow and have helpful tips at the end of each recipe.
Baking is a great way to bring people together. It can be fun even if you’re not a regular baker; you can do it alone or with your friends as a fun fall activity. If you bake something this fall, bring it into your office or class to share it with your peers.
Exploring fall flavors is a perfect way to feel the season and spread delicious love!
