5 Halloween Movies to Get You Ready for Spooky Season
It’s the most wonderful time of the year... I mean really! Christmas, overdone. Thanksgiving, who needs it! Valentine’s Day, let's not even go there. But Halloween, now that is easily the best holiday of the whole year, a time when dressing up outrageous isn’t seen as questionable but rather required. A time when eating obscene amounts of sweets and candy is normal, not a “health risk.” A time for fun, fall, scary movies, and even not so scary movies.
Hocus Pocus (1993). The cult classic, pun intended. Follow along with Max, Dani, and Allison after they free the goofy Sanderson sisters into the 20th century. A movie starring Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker is a done deal.
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966). The family favorite on this list. The one you could watch with your grandma, mom, dad, brother, sister, cousin, boyfriend, best friend, anyone!
The Haunted Mansion (2003). A little spooky, a little scary, a lot of fun. Eddie Murphy and his film family stumble upon the legendary Haunted Mansion and are in for some surprises.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). Let's do the time warp back to the 1970s! I mean a musical had to be included right? This one is just perfectly strange and perfectly perfect for Halloween!
The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). Jack Skellington and Sally invite you into the World of Tim Burton and Halloween Town in this cartoon film.
