3 Podcasts That Will Make You Cackle

It is clear that we are all living in a different world right now. But that does not mean that everything you listen to has to be about the national pandemic (unless you want it to be). There are a plethora of podcasts out there for everyone - no matter your interests. Whether you like to listen to philosophers philosophize, people jabber about politics, or bite your nails following along to a true crime story – there is no shortage of podcast content. For me personally, I thoroughly enjoy listening to comedy podcasts. They are ideal because not only do you get to listen to funny people babble about hilarious experiences, but you learn and listen to them analyze the foolishness of the world and themselves. Sounds great, huh? Depending on which comedy podcast you listen to, you often get a valuable dosage of humor, education, pop culture, and philosophy all within an hour or so. Now… would you think I’d leave you hanging and not tell you some of my favorite comedy podcasts? If so, you must not have read the title. Silly you! My favorite podcast is easily Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend hosted by American comedian and talk-show host Conan O’Brien. He primarily speaks to comedians and actors/actresses in the entertainment industry, but also has guests on that he admires – despite their possible lack of experience in the industry. It is a top-rated podcast on iTunes (and for good reason). Conan O’Brien knows how to have wonderful conversations with anybody, filled with humor, quips, and deep questions. Some of the guests include folks in the industry, like Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, David Letterman, Bill Hader, and Ellen DeGeneres. He’s also had people he admires on the podcast, like Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Neil Young, and Robert Caro. Another podcast I would recommend would be Views hosted by YouTuber’s David Dobrik and Jason Nash. They talk about their random life experiences and thoughts, behind-the-scenes of their vlog videos, and discuss pop culture. They typically do not have any guests; it is just them bantering back and forth. It is hilarious. The third podcast would be Self-Helpless hosted by three comedians Taylor Tomlinson, Kelsey Cook, and Delanie Fischer. The podcast covers various self-help topics, like anxieties in life, heartbreak, and randomness all together; except with a copious amount of humor involved. They mix inspiration and comedy all in one. It’s magnificent. These podcasts are great, and I guarantee you will laugh. Stay safe and listen on!
