You can nearly smell the hype in the air because we are just mere weeks from the first Supreme drop of the Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
The much-awaited Supreme Spring/Summer look book is releasing in the coming weeks. This past week, Supreme posted a teaser of their upcoming collection on Instagram. There have been many rumors about what may be releasing but Supreme confirmed this piece with this post.
To dissect this photo, first, we have this really cool dark gold trucker jacket with pale white Supreme branding embellished into the back. This gives the appearance that the Supreme Branding is almost bursting out of the stitching, and the frayed edges give it a really cool look. Underneath this jacket, we have a hoodie covered in the classic Supreme dollar bills. This outfit is finished off with some red sweats with white piping down the side. This is pretty much the only official snippet Supreme has given us but there are plenty more rumors about what is also dropping this season.
One of the most highly anticipated leaked items for the Supreme SS20 is the rumored Supreme x Nike Air Force One. The Air Force One has made an incredible resurgence into the fashion world in the past year.
Once popular in the 2000s, this shoe can be seen all over college campuses and fashion runways alike. One reason this shoe has made such a comeback is that it is so versatile - like a blank canvas - and many designers like to put their own spin on the shoe.
The Air Force One also is also very accessible to anyone who wants them. Unfortunately, I’m sure Supreme has plans on making this shoe incredibly limited since it is such an iconic sneaker. This collaboration once again shows the incredible impact Supreme has on such common fashionwear. This shoe could have been released years ago but Supreme shows incredible restraint when knowing the exact right time to drop a product.
While this is our first look at this shoe and nothing has been confirmed, this will be an incredibly hyped release if Supreme decides to drop them.
The SS20 full look book is coming out soon so be sure to be on the lookout to see many items dropping this spring.
