Across the globe, a multitude of unique designers have extended their reach beyond their roots, transforming themselves into household names. Here are 10 of my favorite designers who have distinguished themselves due to their unparalleled originality.

Elie Saab

From originally designing wedding gowns to dressing A-list celebrities, the empire of Elie Saab has withstood the test of time. The Lebanese designer debuted his first collection at just 18-years-old during a time where Beirut was in the midst of war. Since then, Saab’s designs have been a staple of class and elegance, creating legendary looks such as Halle Berry’s burgundy dress she wore to the Oscars in 2002.
