With the holiday season amongst us, one of my all-time favorite things about this time of the year is the holiday parties- and surprisingly it isn’t because of the food! Whether you have work parties, family get-togethers, or just a night out with friends, here are my favorite products to make you look prepped for the occasion.
Two words: Drunk Elephant
If you haven’t tried out this skincare brand, go to Sephora right now and pick up a mini. The first product I used by DE was the Sukari Babyfacial mask, and I have been hooked ever since. Gimme Butterflies Pressed Powder Palette - ColourPop
This palette is an Ulta exclusive and is limited edition, but the colors in the palette are incredible for a holiday look. I’ve been obsessed with pinks and reds on my lids this past fall, and can’t wait to create some looks with the beauty. It contains both matte and metallic pigments.
Highlighter
The holidays for me mean glitter and sparkles and lots of them. My favorite highlighter currently is by the one and only badgirlriri - Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in the shade Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby. If you look online at Sephora you can see what each shade looks like on different skin tones.
Bold Lips for Days
I hardly ever wear anything but gloss on my lips, but this season is an exception. I used to have my red lipstick phase, and it always comes out just in time for Christmas. As of this past year though, so many new and bold lip colors are so in style, so feel free to go further than that bold red. A top lip brand for me is Buxom. Glitter/ Colored Liner
This has to be one of my favorite makeup trends right now, and if I wasn’t the worst at putting eyeliner on I would do it every day. A super fun way to spice up your holiday look is to add a gold or silver eyeliner. I’ve seen this being done with super neutral eyeshadow looks and I am seriously obsessed.
Falsies
Fake eyelashes always complete a makeup look by making it look both bolder and more put together. My go-to falsies are sold by House of Lashes, and I absolutely love the Noir Fairy set.
Cà khịa TV mình thấy nhiều người nhắc nên cũng bấm vào nghía thử cho biết thôi. Mình không đọc kỹ nội dung đâu, chủ yếu xem cách họ làm giao diện có dễ nhìn không. Vào cái là thấy trang chia mảng khá rõ ràng, kiểu mỗi khối một chủ đề nên mắt không bị loạn, lướt nhanh vẫn biết mình đang ở phần nào. Mình thích nhất là mấy đoạn trình bày theo kiểu bảng khung thông tin nhìn gọn, không bị dài dòng, quét qua là nắm được ý chính luôn. Thanh menu đặt chỗ dễ thấy nên chuyển qua lại cũng nhanh, không phải mò hay bấm vòng vòng. Nói chung cảm giác dùng khá “mượt”…
LV 88 mình thấy bạn bè nhắc nhiều quá nên cũng ghé thử cho biết thôi. Vào trang cái là thấy họ làm bố cục khá thoáng, chia từng khối nội dung rõ ràng nên lướt nhanh không bị rối mắt. Mình không đọc kỹ hết, chỉ để ý mấy phần tiêu đề với đoạn giới thiệu tổng quan, nhìn kiểu ngắt đoạn gọn gàng nên “đọc lướt” vẫn hiểu họ đang nói gì. Có cái mình thấy tiện là ngay phía trên họ để thông tin hỗ trợ web với app iOS Android khá nổi, khỏi phải mò trong menu. Cuộn xuống thì chữ không bị dày đặc, tiêu đề nổi bật vừa đủ, nhìn chung dễ theo dõi,…
https://rr88.associates/ hôm trước mình lướt thấy ai đó nhắc nên tò mò bấm vào xem thử. Mình không kiểu ngồi đọc kỹ từng dòng hay săn ưu đãi gì đâu, chủ yếu xem trang họ trình bày có dễ nhìn không. Cảm giác đầu tiên là giao diện khá sáng sủa, chia khối nội dung rõ nên kéo xuống là nắm được ý chính liền, không bị rối mắt. I also didn’t find myself bouncing back and forth trying to locate basics, since the navigation stays pretty consistent as you move around. Overall it just feels calm and organized, and the content blocks are spaced cleanly so the page doesn’t feel cluttered.
