Last-minute costume ideas:

• M&Ms—take a simple t-shirt in a plain color and use white paper or tape to add the letter "M"

• Witch—use a neutral or black color scheme and combine a black dress with tights, dark eye makeup and a hat. Extra props if you can find a witch’s broom to use!

• Mickey or Minnie Mouse—wear anything red, black or polka-dotted with some Mickey ears or a bow

• Decades—choose which past decade encapsulates you best, like floral or psychedelic clothes with lots of hanging fringe or sleeves for the 70s or bright neon disco gear for the 80s

• Ghost—channel your inner TikToker and have a photoshoot wearing a white sheet under a pair of sunglasses

• Dunkin’ Donuts—dress up in a jersey or workout gear and add a basketball and an inflatable innertube

• Cat—similar to the witch: find some plain black clothes and accentuate with a cat-eye makeup look and drawn-on whiskers with a pointy-eared headband

• “Spice” Girls—print out an image of a McCormick spice of your choosing, like thyme, cinnamon or anything else, and carry it around with you

• Mummy—wear an all-white outfit and take a long strand of white cloth, or, if you’re really running out of time, toilet paper, and wrap it around yourself—optional: use neutral brown and gray powdered makeup to give the cloth a dirtier look
